We received some exciting news today, The Maine Brew Bus is now in the TripAdvisor Certificate of Excellence Hall of Fame!
TripAdvisor created the Certificate of Excellence award in 2011 to recognize hospitality companies that deliver consistently great service across the world.
It takes into account the frequency, as well as the overall rating of the public reviews from our guests.
According to TripAdvisor, this award is presented to approximately 10% of total businesses on TripAdvisor that have consistently achieved great reviews over the past year.
We had learned earlier this week that we had been awarded the Certificate of Excellence for 2018.
But we were surprised to learn in a separate message today that having achieved this for the past five years has put us in the prestigious Hall of Fame.
“Because you’ve earned a Certificate of Excellence every year for the past five years, we’re pleased to announce that The Maine Brew Bus has qualified for the Certificate of Excellence Hall of Fame.”
We’ve written a couple of times previously about how important TripAdvisor is to our overall business: once when we received our 400th overall review in January of 2016, and then again when we saw our 500th Excellent review on the TripAdvisor platform.
Many travelers coming into Maine are using this resource to select their attractions and activities. And out tours are rated very highly.
The Maine Brew Bus has 859 TripAdvisor reviews as of May 24, 2018. Here is how it breaks down by rating, keeping in mind that TripAdvisor uses a circle method for the ratings rather than using stars:
It’s important to note that this really an award for our entire team. All our staff past and present have contributed to the company that we have become today.
Almost 25,000 guests have been on our tours since we started, and it’s thanks to our team to show them an amazing time at our locally owned businesses that are producing great products.
And of course, we sincerely thank all of the guests that have actually taken the time to review us on TripAdvisor – or any other public review platform.
Our guests trust us to provide them a good experience, that our staff made that happen, and that people were so happy that they took the time to publicly talk about their time on The Maine Brew Bus.
